A Blessed Start of the Nativity Fast

“The Incarnation and the death of the cross of the Savior happened not just to redeem us from our sins, but in order that the world might become aware of the love which God has for His creation. Had all this astounding affair taken place solely for the purpose of the forgiveness of sin, it would have been sufficient to redeem us by some other means. • Winter Warm Project:
  • Thanks to the hard work of many, we have completed over 100 warmth kits: a box containing a blanket, sweater, socks, scarf, and hygiene products. Thanks to all those who helped and contributed!
  • If you would like to take 1 or 2 kits to keep with you in your car to distribute to any homeless person you see, please e-mail coccyouth@gmail.com or text 949-236-7062 to arrange a time to pickup the kits.
  • The remainder of the warmth kits will be handed out to the homeless of Los Angeles in the next few weeks.

  • The Nativity Fast begins on Tuesday 11/24.
• Thanksgiving Liturgy & Feast of St. John Chrysostom:

  • To register for the Sunday and Saturday Liturgies (1st and 3rd Sat of every month) please use this link: Liturgy Registration.
  • Deacons will be assigned for Sunday and Saturday Liturgies.
  • Weekday liturgies are open and do not need registration.

  • Bookstore service has resumed its services every Sunday after the liturgy. Serving one family at a time.
