Church Announcements

  • Happy New Year!
    • But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing (1 The 4:10–12).
    • We are so proud of our youth for putting on this spectacular play! God Bless them all!
  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day Schedule
    • Vespers: 7:30 – 8:00 pm
    • Queen Esther and Salvation Play, Youth Performances, Sermon, & 2019 Slideshow: 8:00 – 9:45 pm
    • Midnight & Kiahk Praises: 9:45 pm – 12:00 am
    • Contemplative Prayers: 12:00 – 12:15 am
    • Divine Liturgy: 12:15 – 2:30 am
      • There will be No 8:00am Liturgy on Wednesday, January 1st due to the Midnight Liturgy prayed on the altar the night before
  • Feast of the Nativity Schedule
    • January 6th, Nativity Celebration Liturgy: 8:00 pm – 12:30 am
      • Followed by Agape Potluck at Church
      • If you can bring something, contact 714-979-5218
    • January 8th (Kiahk 29), Festal Liturgy: 8:00 – 11:00 am
  • Kiahk Praises will be on Saturday, January 4th, 2020
    • Praises will start after Vespers and continue until midnight
    • Liturgy on Sunday will be remain on the normal schedule
  • Non-Monetary Donations
    • If you have donated non-monetary items (supplies, equipment, etc.) to the church in 2019 and want to include them in your 2019 tax letter, please:
      1. fill out and sign this form,
      2. attach the receipts, and
      3. give them to Georgette Farag or scan and email them to cocctreasurer@gmail.com by January 15, 2020.
  • New Deacons’ Meeting!
    • We will be starting a new Deacon’s Meeting which will be held Every Sunday from 12:00 – 12:45 pm in the Revelation’s Room
    • All deacons are welcome to attend
  • ACTS for Kids for ages 8-13 are being held at the COCC on the first Saturday of every month through May 2nd.
